We have added 4 new color-themed Dacha tactics since our last newsletter! Have you been keeping up with your sparring practice?

If you haven't been keeping up, here's an interesting tactic that we call "Truly Coming Around the Mountain!!"

IM Yaacov's Hint: This was a cool battle vs Canadian GM Mark Bluvshtein with a truly unique finish. The game started with a juicy Budapest. We're far down material, but his king is on its last legs. Surprisingly, the finish isn't easy because of the golden light bishop, which helps defend light around the king. As per usual, we need to use the queen to muster light!! Let's put our queen + bishop combo to work ...

Hint: Black is doing well here. More space, 2 bishops, and a very compact position. How to form a plan? Let's begin with colors naturally! The imbalance is that black has a light bishop for the white knight. This means we are ahead on light. As a bonus -- this is a Golden Bishop.
